Advance voting for the upcoming May 20th General Primary and Nonpartisan Election will begin on Monday, April 28.  Voters in Georgia have several options available to them for casting their ballot.

Voting by Mail continues through Friday, May 16.   To do so, apply in writing with the Board of Elections Office; Advance Voting begins Monday, April 28th.  For the first two weeks and through Friday, May 9, Advance Voting will be available only at the Board of Elections Office at 530 Greene Street from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily; Saturday Voting will be held on Saturday, May 10, at the Board of Elections Main Advance Voting Center, the Warren Road Recreation Center, the Henry Brigham Center, and Diamond Lakes Regional Park from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

All those voting in person must provide one of the six acceptable forms of photo identification and do not have to provide a reason for voting.  Voters participating in the General Primary should be prepared to choose their party preference. Sample ballots will be available at all voting sites or can be previewed on the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page at mvp.sos.state.ga.us.
