Change is coming to several area grocery stores after Bi-Lo gets federal approval of its plan to buy two supermarket chains.  The deal will result in the closing of Aiken and Orangeburg stores involved in the acquisition.

A Reids supermarket in Orangeburg will close by the end of May, while the Bi-Lo on York Street in Aiken will close in mid-July.  The deal also means the Harveys store in Waynesboro will be sold and become an IGA store.
