Utility crews say they’re making progress in South Carolina, though many were still in the dark early this morning.
Aiken Electric officials say crews are still working around the clock and they still had 900 outages in Aiken County as of 10:00 p.m. Tuesday.
A statement from the utility company says power has been restored in some areas sooner than others, in part, because there were fewer broken poles in those places.
They say they hope today will be the day all Aiken Electric customers will have their power restored.
Meanwhile….SCE&G officials say they still have nearly 150 outages they’re working on in the Aiken County area. No word yet on when those customers can expect to have their power restored.
